Simple Back-to-Work Hairstyles in 5 Minutes or Less
The summer buzz is drawing to a close and the back to work season has begun. After weeks of relaxing and embracing those beautiful summer days, the routine is back and it’s going to take a little time to get back into the swing of things. With this in mind, we’ve gathered our favourite back-to-work hairstyles to keep you looking and feeling fabulous during your first few weeks back, as well as saving you a little bit of time first thing to give you time to enjoy that essential morning coffee.
The Top-Knot
It’s time to put the classic bun to the side and embrace the top-knot. This classic and quick hairstyle is simple yet adds a touch of character to your overall look. Not only does the top-knot keep those stray hairs away from your face, up-do’s mean business and will instantly put you in the right mind-set for the first week back. From messy top-knots to the neater styles, simple use your YOI styling products to brush your stray hairs back and keep your top-knot looking neat and chic.

Barley There Bun
For those with longer hair, a barely-there bun is ideal. Sometimes you wake up in the morning and just don’t have the time, or motivation to spend 20 minutes styling those long locks, so there’s nothing better than the simple bun choice. Simply bunch the ends of your hair together and tie loosely with a hairband. Just as you would do on the top of your head, but for this look keep it low and loose. This style is also great for creating natural waves for the next days look too!

Classic Pony
It has to be the most popular hairstyle of all time, but the classic pony is something that everyone goes for when trying to save a little time. Simply gather your hair together at the back of your head and tie together with your hairband to keep neatly in place. Use the YOI Styling Co. Pomade to keep any stray hairs at the front of your face sleeked back into your pony for a neat look.

Half Up-Do
Another great style for those with longer hair, the half up-do is ideal for scraping those annoying front hairs back into a messy bun at the back of your hair. Simply run your fingers through the top of your hair and gather the top half together, tying messily with a hairband. This simple 2-minute style is also great for avoiding any hair kinks that are sometimes caused when bunching your whole hair up into a tighter bun.
