Post Workout Styles for a Great Hair Day
With summer finally here, everyone’s stepping up their workout game to ensure they have that summer body in time for the holiday season. For many, this can result in having to wash your hair much more than normal, which is slightly off putting to those who like to stick to a strict washing schedule. You’ll often hear the excuse “I’m not working out today, I’ve just washed my hair”, but with our tricks for post workout hair, there’s no more room for excuses!
The French Plait
Braided hairstyles are perfect for that post workout style, as not only are you able to keep your hair out of your face when you’re cooling down, but you can hide the fact that you’ve just been sweating on a spinning bike for the last 30 minutes. By sweeping your locks back into a stylish French plait or braid, you can create a gorgeous look whilst keeping your hair neat and in place. To help you keep any wispy bits of hair from straying around your face, apply some Pomade for a firm hold.

The Messy Bun
Sometimes it’s much easier to bunch your hair together and stick it up into a messy bun. This simple up-do is quick and easy to do, making it ideal when in a rush after a heavy workout. To create this look, all you need to do is gather sections of your hair together on the top of your head, grab a hair tie and wrap around your hair until it sits firmly in a bun position. For added ‘mess’, you can pull strands of your hair to loosen them slightly and create a tousled look.

The Classic Pony Tail
If you’re wanting to keep things easy and have more control of your hair, the classic ponytail is the style for you. Simply brush your hair back with both hands to meet at the back of your head, position the pony as high or low as you feel comfortable and tie up with your hair tie. For many, applying some paste to your roots can help to keep your hair in place, preventing any stray hairs from dropping down in front of your face. You’ll also find that the classic ponytail is a great style when working out too.

The Natural Look
For many people, leaving their hair natural after a workout is the best option, but how do you combat that awkward sheen that you always get in your roots? By applying plenty of dry shampoo to your roots after a workout you can save your hair and create a look that’s much more natural. Simply spray your hair with a generous amount of dry shampoo and run your hands through your roots to properly mix the product
